Translation Notes (Will be updated as soon as I remember what I wanted to make notes of loooooool)
- This current version of the game includes lines that were either added or changed without my knowledge, but I am in the process of playing through the game and compiling a list of everything that needs to be revised so please sit tight!
- In the original game, the character's genders are purposefully made to be ambiguous, but there was one character in particular who went by both masculine and feminine pronouns. As such, you'll see scenes in which they are referred to as they, she, and he; this is not a translation error. (Any other character besides this one that DOES go by masculine and feminine pronouns, though, IS an error, and I would very much appreciate if you told me as much please and thanks)
- Regarding any errors in the facts presented in this game, on my part, I translated the lines from the game and rectified anything that contradicted information that I found through my own research, and also added in some lines like, "but don't quote me on that" just to be on the safe side. However, there may still be errors present and to that I say... These are school students we're talking about, okay, they're not supposed to be 100% pros on everything!!! >:ccc
- For any titles mentioned (mainly the books), if there were any "official" English translations of them, I went with those for easy googling! Speaking of those titles, I think the majority of them aren't available in English, and while I would love to try and translate some I simply do not have the time! Or at least right now. Maybe in the future, I will dabble in a 5 line poem translation aehriuaehrh
(*I'm linking the game and not uploading it because it's not my game!)

Ooh, interesting! Might check this one out later. I played the demo of DReAMLAND, and I must say I'm impressed with the translation, and it's absolutely drastically an improvement. So Kudos! I'm really looking forward to it. (And my wallet is kind of ready, hopefully it's affordable.)
Speaking of, there was the other game they release based on the same universe. It's the only one I haven't played... and can't also buy it, because it's on a different platform.... and it's on h-site (and also had different payments). It does have english translation, but I'm unsure if you're the one that also did it or not. So I do only have one question tho, if you checked out the game already during those times, do I miss out anything for not seeing this, and more of supplementary, or no ? But if you didn't anyway and/or as well probably not the one who translated the game, that's also fine, and nevermind me then.
(I'm gonna admit something on this tho, I tried to "black magic" about the game, but all I find is just the h-version or the (ar-ey-tin) and yeah. I was hoping someone has the somewhat safer version. There was a playthrough by someone, but there are times I just want to find it out for myself. )
Also, I'm really sorry in advance for bothering you something like this.
And if there's something uncomfortable or something, I will just edit out this comment or like delete this right away. (<- I'm still honestly not good in conversations)
Hey! For this game, I still haven't gotten back in touch with the dev about the stuff that needs fixing since there's a lot of it, so in its current state, I'd say it's probably best to wait until then. (They're very busy right now, though, so I'm not sure if they'll be able to get to those changes soon.) That's also why I haven't made a post about it except for this one, but hopefully we'll work something out!
And thanks for checking out the Cafe DReAMLAND demo! If you mean an improvement from Hello Hello World, yes, I definitely agree! I also looked more into Cthulhu lore to pick words and phrases that are used by the community, and I'm glad with how it turned out!
That game, I didn't translate, so I can't say for certain if you're missing anything, but based on the Steam description of Cafe DReAMLAND and having played through the whole thing myself while translating, you shouldn't need any prior knowledge from any games to play it. It's just a nice bonus when you do see the references.
It's all good, thanks for the consideration!
ah ok, got it, I mean there's a lot of time and things for me to do anyways! they'll have the time eventually. Still looking forward to it! Also sorry if I only replied now.
